Al-Rasheed Development Center and Al-Bayan Center for Planning and Studies signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening institutional cooperation in the fields of research, policy analysis, and strategic dialogue. This step aligns with Al-Rasheed Development Center’s objectives and its plan to implement a series of activities and programs in the upcoming phase.

The MoU comes within the framework of unifying efforts between two leading Iraqi institutions committed to supporting evidence-based policymaking, advancing democratic development pathways, and expanding avenues for civic participation—consistent with the current stage and the political and developmental challenges facing Iraq.

Areas of joint cooperation will focus on several national priority issues, including governance, economic reform, education, and regional affairs. This will be achieved through the implementation of joint research projects, the organization of forums and dialogue sessions, as well as specialized capacity-building programs aimed at enhancing research and analytical skills.

Both parties affirmed that this partnership represents a practical step toward strengthening integration between civil society organizations and think tanks, contributing to the production of rigorous knowledge, opening sustainable dialogue spaces, and supporting a more informed and innovative political environment capable of responding to internal and regional transformations.

Through this memorandum, Al-Rasheed Development Center reaffirms its commitment to expanding its national partnerships and collaborating with Iraqi research and intellectual institutions, reinforcing its role in supporting public discourse and developing policy alternatives that contribute to building a state grounded in institutions and knowledge.
